But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (1 Timothy 1:5)

Roger has been an ordained minister for over 35 years. Both Roger and Sheila are ordained, now with the non-denominational Ministers Network Canada. They also held denominational credentials for 22 years, having pastored and pioneered churches in Quebec and Ontario, Canada. Roger also served in a denominational office for 12 years. They were also Associates of Cornerstone Christian Counselling Centre, and Certified Trainers of the 7 Life Language KLLP Profile for the Life Languages Institute.

The Rayners are Bible College graduates, have had university training, and are graduates of many specialized courses such as the Ellel School of Healing, Elijah House, Cornerstone Christian Counseling training courses, various prayer and dream interpretation, trauma, addiction and dissociation courses (Roger has a Certificate in Trauma & Addiction Recovery from Algonquin College).

Through seeking healing in their own lives, God has called the Rayners into interdenominational healing prayer ministry, ministering online with clients nationally and internationally. They also receive referrals from churches, working in partnership with church leadership.

Roger and Sheila have a special burden for those who have not been able to find their place in the Body of Christ because of brokenness or lack of recognition. Often these are spiritually gifted individuals who simply need a helping hand and some encouragement to find healing and release in the open arms and unconditional love of the Father. The Rayners have also organized seminars, training schools, “soaking prayer” times and events to equip others to form ministry teams.

Living a balanced, healthy lifestyle is always a challenge so hobbies and outdoor activities are a must! Roger enjoys Macintosh computers, reading, writing and desktop publishing. Sheila enjoys gardening, canning and woodworking. Together they enjoy hiking in the woods, cross-country skiing and biking.
